Vertical close up of a solo violinist playing sombre music in between the 2711 grey stone monoliths which comprise the Holocaust Memorial, officially named the Monument to the Murdered Jews in Europe, on a bright sunny day. Designed by American architect Peter Eisenman, the memorial consists of 2,711 undulating grey stone slabs of different sizes that bear no names or dates.
