B. C. Yates, superintendent of theHoniestake Co., at Lead, S. D., is spend-ing his vacation visiting points of in-terest in Colorado. He is accompaniedby his family, and is making the tripby automobile. Captain E. R. Graham has returnedfrom service in France and has takenup his residence in Lead, S. D. Pre-vious to his entering the army was superintendent of theMogul Mining Co. W. Fleet Robertson, provincial miner-alogist of British Columbia, has beenappointed acting deputy minister ofmines of that province, during the ab-sence of R. T. Tolmie, who has beengranted sick leave. Richard Bollas, of the engineeringstaff. Copper Queen mine, Bisbee, hasresigned, to take over the managementof the Smith-Cananea Mining Co.,whose property is situated in Canan
