WATERS SOUTH OF JAPAN (May 29, 2017) A C-2A Greyhound from the "Providers" of Fleet Logistics Support Squadron (VRC-30) launches from the flight deck of the Navy's forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). The Greyhound departed the flight deck carrying state congressmen from Georgia, Alabama, Michigan and North Carolina after a visit aboard Ronald Reagan on Memorial Day. Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interests of its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
