The distinctive Stac Pollaidh, or Stac Polly, mountain and loch Lurgainn taken from the single track road off the A835, Wester Ross, Scotland. Stac Pollaidh means "peak of the peat moss" and lies north of Ullapool on the way to Achiltibuie and is a popular mountain to climb by ramblers and hill walkers. Taken in April on a clear day where gorse lines the single track road, which runs alongside a line of telegraph poles.
