The woman is Tamamo No Mae (the jewelry girl). She is possessed by a fox but is so beautiful that she became the beloved of Emperor Toba (1103-1156). When the emperor fell ill, the debt was placed with her, after which she fled the palace. Eventually she was shot by a hunter, after which she turned into a rock. With three poems.
