Air Force F-35A Lightning II fighter jet assigned to the 158th Fighter Wing, Vermont National Guard (VTNG) flank a C-17 Globemaster III from the 105th Airlift Wing, New York National Guard (NYNG), during a mission orientation flight over rural New York on June 3, 2022. While visiting NYNG Airmen at Stewart Air National Guard Base, Lt. Gen. Michael A. Loh, director, Air National Guard, observed a joint training mission with two F-35As from the VTNG and refueling from a KC-46A Pegasus tanker from the 157th Air Refueling Wing, New Hampshire National Guard.
