Portrait of the Utrecht music student Hendrik Willem Christiaan ("Henk") Spruit (born Utrecht, 19 Feb. 1906, died De Bilt 6 Jan. 1998). Spruit was, among other things, 1st violinist and 1st and 2nd conductor of the Utrecht Stedelijk Orkest () in the period 1933-1949.
