Its flowers, which are not unlike :he Royal Sweet Sultan, are a magnificent brilliant rose, and last a long time tvhen cut and placed in water. It blooms in July, and the plant grow-s 2 to 2} feet high, and is perfectly hardy. (See cut.) 50 cts. each. Aiicliusa Italica, Dropmore Variety. One of the most important and best hardy plants of recent introduction, and a grand improvement on the original type of A. Italica, or Italian Alkanet, and a plant which, on account of its remarkable freedom of flowering and its beauti- ful blue color, is sure to become one of our most popular Hardy Perennials. It attains a height of 5 to G feet, and produces its pretty gentian-blue flowers, which are from 1 to 1} inches in diameter, throughout the entire summer. 25 cts. ;ach; $ per doz. ANCHISA ITAEICA, OPAL. Similar in all respects to the Dropmore variety, except in color, which is a fine lustrous light blue. 35 cts. each; per doz. ANEMONOPSIS MACROPHYLLA.
