A model 1939 dagger in gold issue for government officials with hanger and portepee,Maker Carl Eickhorn,Solingen Blade with Eickhorn logo. Gold-plated(partly rubbed)crossguard,ferrule and eagle's head pommel,mother-of-pearl grip scales,silver portepee,gold-plated scabbard(minimally rubbed)with attached Eickhorn seal. Length 37 cm. Together with its extremely rare hanger of woven silver thread with black velvet backing and gold-plated aluminium fittings(slightly rubbed). Of utmost rarity. Cf.
