During the display, Marines gained knowledge and familiarity with the new vehicle. The ACV is replacing the Assault Amphibious Vehicle currently used around the Marine Corps and it will provide a more modern and advanced amphibious assault platform that will increase the Marine Corps' maritime capabilities as a naval expeditionary force.
