For the most part they are grown in water in fancy bowls, with just enough pebbles around them to kee]) them from toppling over. They can also be grown in pots in soil, sand, jirepared fihre or moss. We annually import from China a large quantity of the finest quality bulbs, and if planted on arrival (about October 1st) they will flower by Christmas, and a succession of flowers can be had by making several plantings.
