Ugandan women prepare cuttings of Artemisia Annua, a Chinese herb used to produce drugs to treat the most deadly forms of Malaria. A Disease which plagues the community where these women live in Eastern Uganda. The crop is dried and sold to many of the world major Pharmaceutical companies who use it to produce drugs known as Artemisinin Combination Therapy or ACTs.
