Inside a taxi in Tis Isat or Blue Nile waterfalls, Bahar Dar, Ethiopia, of the car on the way between Bahir Dar and the Blue Nile Falls. The first historical records of this area date from the late 16th and early 17th centuries, with the settlement of Jesuit missionaries on the banks of Lake Tana. Even today, a building of this period is conserved near the central square, which is associated with Pedro Páez, a Spanish Jesuit missionary sent to Ethiopia in 1589.
