Carl Crocker was chairman of the 1922 Student Committee and FredEldean had charge of the campaign of 1921. In addition to the student subscriptions, $150,000 was pledged by thealumni and friends of the University. The total amount pledged in the twocampaigns was $441,000, and work on the building itself should start in thenear Dedicating the Site Page 197 St. Tafs Day
