Hikers walking a section of the famous Laugavegur hiking trail, near Landmannalaugar, Iceland

Hikers walking a section of the Laugavegur, the world famous hiking trail that leads from Landmannalaugar to Thorsmork in southern Iceland. The colourful hillsides are due to rhyolite, a volanic mineral abundant in the area. The colourful area towards the top left is created by mineral deposits left by solfataras.
