Cerebral haemorrhage, CT scan
Coloured axial computed tomograhy (CT) of a 69-year-old male patient, 24 hours after being admitted to hospital for a cerebrovascular accident. The scan shows the presence of a right hemispheric intra-parenchymal haemorrhage (left, purple), centered in the territory right of the thalamostriate with peripheral oedema causing midline recoil, compressive effect on ventricular structures.
