The base of the crown is next ground level andaccurately fitted to the cap and articulated to the antagonizingteeth. It is then clamped in position to the cap, the pivots ofwhich are protected with investing material (Fig. 321), andsoldered, making a perfect joint. This is an easy method ofconstructinsr an otherwise dilficult form of crown.
