Ontesting the hearing, total deafness was found on the left side; the tuning-fork applied to the vertex was perceived only in the right ear. In the caseof a girl eight years of age, Guye extracted the semicircular canals with a partof the vestibule as a sequestrum from the opened mastoid process. In thiscase the absence of all disturbances of co-ordination was interesting. Moosextracted from the external meatus a bony, semicircular canal, whereupon.
