The windows are remark-ably lofty and grace-ful, especially thoseat the ends of theaisles, and seem allto have been filledwith ancient stainedglass, which we willnotice below. The east end ofthe south aisle origi-nally formed a chan-try, in the south wall of which is a trefoil-headed piscina,with its stone shelf, and by its side is a square ambry, which VOL. IV.
