More than 35 employers were honored by their California Army National Guard employee for the support they provide the Soldier to let them serve their community, state and country. They also toured the facility and learned a little bit about what their troop does when they let them off work to train. The award for "Patriotic Employer" was from the Office of the Secretary of Defense and the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) office. It read: "For contributing to National Security and protecting liberty and freedom by supporting employee participation in America's National Guard and Reserve ; Here a few of the employers and their Soldier/employee stand with their certificates flanked by members of the ESGR team.
