Men-an-Tol (holed stone) archeological megalith and standing stones. Cornwall, England, UK

Men-an-Tol means 'holed stone'. Known locally as 'Crick Stone'. The site consists of four stones, including two upright stones, a circular stone with a hole and fallen stone. The site is considered to be Bronze Age. The significance and use of the hole stone is not known, but theories include that it may have had ancient religious use - perhaps to view landscape, other worlds or pass a small iinfant through in some ritual ceremony. Located three miles northwest of Madron, near Penzance.
