GULF OF ADEN (April 15, 2017) The crew of an MV-22B Osprey attached to the "Blue Knights" of Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 365 (Reinforced) prepare to land on the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) after a vertical replenishment with the fleet replenishment oiler USNS Kanawha (T-AO 196). The ship and its ready group are deployed in the 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations designed to reassure allies and partners, and preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region
