Manston War Memorial, High Street, Manston, Thanet, Kent, c1945-c1965. A general view of the High Street in Manston, with St Catherine's Church and a war memorial in the background, seen from the west. The war memorial is on the junction of the High Street and Preston Road, west of the church. It was unveiled on 24th May 1921 by Wing Commander WH Primrose DFC, and commemorates 17 men from the village who died fighting in WWI.
