Mughal architecture, Fatehpur Sikri, Uttar Pradesh, India. This city was founded as the capital of Mughal Empire, and was used as such from 1571 to 1585. Imperial palaces and other buildings were constructed here. It was abandoned in 1610, before returning to use in the early 19th century.
