It is good either fortable use or stock , Sc.; oz., loc; ; ^ lb., 20c.; lb., Dwarf Green Okra. Okra, or Gumbo OCHER, —Plant in Milsabout four feet apart, puttingsix to eight seeds in a hill andafter the plants are well startedcut out all but two. The dwarfsorts can be planted much closerin hills two to three feet apart,or in drills two feet apart, thinning the plants to about one foot apart inthe row. Gather the pods when quite green and about an inch and ahalf long. Grown for its young pods, which are used in soup, or stewedand served like asparagus.
