MEDITERRANEAN SEA (July 23, 2017) Destroyer Squadron 22 Operations Officer Lt. Bruce Hallett and Carrier Strike Group Operations Officer Lt. Cdr. Mike Proudman conduct combined planning aboard aircraft carrier George Bush (CVN 77). Officers from the UKCSG are embarked in preparation for Exercise Saxon Warrior, a keystone exercise as the prepares for the arrival of the HMS Queen Elizabeth. The GHWB and its carrier strike group are conducting naval operations in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe and Africa.
