A splendid species of gigantic- growth and very distinct; the stems grow 6 to 10 feet high, and frequently bear 12 to 20 large flowers 5 or 6 inches long, color creamy white, with a purple throat; blooms in the summer. Large flowering bulbs. $ each; $ per doz. Hansoni. Deep golden yellow, conspicuously spotted with purple. A thrifty grower and very hardy; 3 to 4 feet, June. 50 cts. each; $ per doz. Harrisii (Bermuda Easter Lily). This magnificent Lily is undoubtedly the best for winter forcing, as it comes quickly into bloom. The fljwers are trumpet- shaped, pure white, gracefully formed and delightfully fragrant. The bulbs should be potted in early fall in rich soil, and the pots plunged in sand, where they should be allowed to remain until the approach of cold weather. The freedom with which the flowers are producd is truly remarkable; even the smallest bulbs blooming freely. Eich. Fine bulbs. 5 to 7 inches 10 cts. Extra bulbs, 7 to 9 inches 20 cts. Mammoth bulbs, 9 to 11 cts. Henryj. This beautiful and rare variety closely resembles the speciosutn type, and has been called the "Yellow Speciosum," the flowers being a rich apricot-yellow with a few brown spots.
