Underground former Nuclear Missiles at RAF GReenham Common formerly home to 96 American Nuclear Cruise Missiles from 1982 - 1993. Picture shows the Launch Control Centres (LCC) Interior and Exterior where the Ground Launch Cruise Missiles (GLCM'S) were stored and maintained on the GAMA (Ground Alert and Maintainence Area) of the former base near Newbury in Berkshire. The missiles were finally destroyed under the INF Treaty at the end of the cold War between the United States of America and Russia
