Upper labial folds and nuchal flaps well developed,the latter with rounded tubercles. Skin of the upper surface of the shell covered withtubercles arranged more or less in longitudinal wavy lines, most apparent in the with two pairs of callosities well developed in the adult and more or lessrugose. Claws strong and pointed. Upper surface olive or olive-brown, profuselyspotted with white dots with dark margins, well marked in the young and in half-grown.
