WESTERN PACIFIC (June 4, 2017) The Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) approaches the Military Sealift Command Lewis and Clark-class dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Charles Drew (T-AKE 10) prior to an underway replenishment-at-sea. The Navy has patrolled the Indo-Asia-Pacific routinely for more than 70 years promoting regional peace and security.
