Craighouse is the only village on the island of Jura. It sits in the south western corner of Small Isles Bay, a broad bay on the island's south east coast sheltered by a series of islands collectively known as the Small Isles. The village is home to a large proportion of the island's population, which stood at 196 in 2011.
