Spiese, commanding general of I Marine Expeditionary Brigade, receives a gift from Rob Bonta, vice mayor of Alameda, during a tour of the vehicles and equipment 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit Marines brought for display as part of the 2012 San Francisco Fleet Week, Oct. 07, 2012. From Oct. 3-8, Marines and Sailors of the 13th MEU, I MEB, will participate in numerous community outreach events including the Italian Heritage Day parade, urban search and rescue demonstration, park restoration projects and hospital visits.
