Drill instructors with Delta Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, recite the drill instructor creed during pick up at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Nov. 10. Upon completing the creed, the drill instructors begin their mission of transforming their recruits into Marines. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Delta Company is scheduled to graduate Feb. 2.
