IN presenting this little hand-book we have no apol-ogy to offer, for it has been apparent for a longtime that a complete register of the Medical, Dentaland kindred professions, together with such other mat-ter as pertain to them, was very much needed in thiscity and vicinity. In this book we have tried to meetthat want as far as possible. All sources have been can-vassed for information and every part of the book isoriginal compilation. We have included digests ofthe various laws relating to the practice of Medicine,Dentistry and Pharmacy. These laws have been soabbreviated that the vital parts are prominently setforth. If any omissions occur we can offer as anexcuse only the inability of our canvassers to find,after repeated attempts, the ones omitted. Our patrons will aid the work by notifying us ofany changes in residence or office so that we can sendeach year to the subscribers of The Red Book theseaddenda, thereby keep
