Thus was formed a rudimentary parliament duringthat time usually called the Dark Ages, from 476 1453, a method of government which over a thousandyears after that first coming of the Saxon was tobe tried in greater detail and with phenomenal success onthe shores of the New World, through the Cavaliers ofVirginia, the Pilgrims of Plymouth and the Puritans of PURITAN AND PILGRIM FOUNDATIONS.
