This image may not be used to state or imply ESA endorsement of any company or product Composite radar satellite image of the Zambezi floodplain. The Zambezi River (light green) is seen snaking down the image from left. The city of Mongu (white) is at upper right. This important wetland floods annually during the rainy season. Three images were combined to make this image, one from the wet season (1st March 2011) and two from the dry season (27th September and 26th December 2011). Image obtained by the Envisat satellite.
