Large WW2 bunker with cannon at Bangsbo, Denmark. Bangsbo Fort was built by the Germans during WW2 and in 1944 it was armed with 15 cm guns from the former Danish warship, Niels Juel. The Germnas built a total of 70 bunkers on the site, and in 1950 the Danish navy, inspired by the cold war, added another 10 bunkers. Bangsbo Fort is now a museum with several open exhibition bunkers and is a major local tourist attraction. the gun on the photo is a 15 cm gun from the Niels Juel warship.
