People watching the Olympics live on the Lewisham Big Screen, Blackheath. The Lewisham Big Screen, Blackheath, showed live BBC coverage of all the sporting action from the London 2012Olympics. The Lewisham's outdoors big screen was just one of the special events taking place across London during the Olympic Games, with more big screens set up in Hyde Park, Victoria Park and Potters Fields. Set up in time for the official Olympics opening ceremony and staying in place until the closing ceremony on 12th August, the Lewisham Big Screen showed live BBC coverage of all the competitive sports from the Olympic Park and beyond.
