The George Inn - a public house established in medieval times (late 16th century).. it was rebuilt in 1677 after a fire destroyed the previous building and is the only surviving galleried coaching inn in London. It is owned by the National Trust. Charles Dickens visited the inn and mentioned it in 'Little Dorritt'.
