Napoleon Bonaparte (1769-1821) at Château de Malmaison near Paris, France

Napoleon Bonaparte (15 August 1769 - 5 May 1821) was a French military and political leader who rose to prominence during the latter stages of the French Revolution and its associated wars in Europe. Mark Schneider (1969) is a well-known professional American actor who portraits Napoleon Bonaparte during Napoleonic battle reenactments and events throughout Europe and America. This photo was taken at the Château de Malmaison in Rueilmaison, France. It was formerly the residence of Empress Joséphine de Beauharnais and was, with the Tuileries, from 1800 to 1802 the headquarters of the French government, and Napoleon's last residence in France at the end of the Hundred Days in 1815.
