On the Rue Léon Gambetta sits this quaint and historic church called 'Église Saint-Jean-Baptiste de Saint-Jean-de-Luz'. It was here that King Louis XIV of France (known as 'The Sun King') was married on 9th June 1660. This marriage to the Spanish Infanta Marie Thérèse, facilitated the signing of the Treaty des Pyrénées.
