Man uncapping honey in a capped frame, using an electric hot knife. The dark comb is where bee brood or pollen had been stored (previously) by the bees, but was cleaned out and replaced with honey at some point (by the bees). If the frame of honey were being judged in a honey contest, it would be downgraded given the comb should be all light colored to pass muster, but the honey is just as tasty.
