The Shrine of Saint Frithuswith(650 – 727) aka Frideswide, Frideswith, Fritheswithe, Frevisse, or simply Fris is in the Latin Chapel of Christ Chouch Cathdral. She was an English princess and daughter of a Mercian sub-king named Dida of Eynsham, whose lands occupied western Oxfordshire and the upper reaches of the River Thames. As an abbess, Frithuswith is in ,she was credited with establishing a religious site later corporated into Christ Church College, part of Oxford University, Oxfordshire, England
