Oxford, England - 2011; Only in Oxford could an educational entity established in 1379 be known as New College. Historically, it has always been highly ranked academically. The college is located in the centre of Oxford, between Holywell Street and New College Lane, next to All Souls College, Harris Manchester College, Hertford College, The Queen's College and St Edmund Hall. Its striking architecture has made the college a popular location for film and television, featuring in Harry Potter films and His Dark Materials TV series amongst others. Here we see the luminous stained glass windows in it medieval chapel.
