Two fragments of ancient near eastern iron mask-swords, 10th to 8th centuries Flat profiled iron hilt chiselled with two reclining lions, on the pommel flat two strongly stylised lion masks behind bearded human heads. Length cm. Professionally conserved, in excellent state and with a fine pyre patina. Also another fragment with part of the blade conserved. Length 24 cm.
