Co.'s Onion Seed is all grown from choice well selected bulbs, and is unsurpassed in quality, and the seed we offer is of the crop of 1899, fresh and true to name. From the very great care we have taken with this article, our trade has been yearly increasing, particularly amongst Market Gardeners and Truckers, many of whom have ordered for years, ten, twenty, fifty and a hundred pounds of seed every sea- son, which we believe is the best evidence that N. S. Co.'s Onion Seed is unexcelled in quality, and it pays to plant N. S. Co.'s reliable Onion Seed. The crops of Onion Seed of 1899 have been extremely short and we would call atten- tion to our Low Prices for 1900. The ground for Onions should be well pre- pared by digging in plenty of well rotted ma- nure. The seed may be sown from the first of April to the middle of May. Sow in drills one inch deep and twelve inches apart. When the Onions are up, thin them out to the distance of three inches apart. Southport Large White Globe —True globe shaped, enormous yielder. Grows to a large size, of mild flavor and a good keeper.
