MUSICAL CLUBS HOME CONCERT. At the Durand Art Institute, on the eveningof Washingtons birthday, the glee, banjo andmandolin clubs made their annual appearancebefore a Lake Forest audience. Everyone had been looking forward withpleasure to this exhibition of student talent,and both students and residents turned. J. M. EAKINS. out in goodly numbers. The program asgiven was a complete success and showedhard practice and good leadership. The first part of the entertainment openedwith the rousing Student Chorus, by theglee, banjo and mandolin clubs, and was fol-lowed by Schneiders Band, by the glee club,as an encore. Then came Dear Old AlmaMater, the words of which were written by Doran, 93. E. M. Fradenburgh then sang-Faint Heart Neer Won Fair Lady, with theglee club joining on the Cupid chorus. Thiswas greeted with a storm of applause and wasprobably the most popular number on theprogram. The banjo club next made its appearanceand treated the audience to the ColumbianStudents March, which they executed so wellthat no one would be satisfied until they hadreturned and again exhibited their skill. MyFlo and The Millers Song were next sungvery sweetty by the glee club. Three LittleDarkies was the encore. C. C. Rogers, ofRush Medical College, then impersonatedOld W
