MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Jan. 2, 2019) – Sailors move away from an MV-22 Osprey, assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor squadron (VMM) 264 (Reinforced), after it lands on the flight deck of the Whidbey Island-class amphibious dock landing ship USS Fort McHenry (LSD 43) Jan. 2, 2019. Fort McHenry and embarked 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit are on a scheduled deployment as part of the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group in support of maritime security operations, crisis response and theater security cooperation, while also providing a forward naval presence.
