Strait of Madura, Indonesia (July 14, 2006) - An Indonesian Navy diver prepares to go on a familiarization dive from the fantail of rescue and salvage ship USS Salvor (ARS 52). Salvor is currently participating in the third phase of exercise Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT). CARAT is an annual series of bilateral maritime training exercises between the United States and six Southeast Asia nations designed to build relationships and enhance the operational readiness of the participating forces.
