William Chalmers Burns (1815-1868), Scottish evangelist and Christian missionary to China with the English Presbyterian Mission in the 19th century. Burns worked with fellow missionary Hudson Taylor for quite some time and both were involved in the advance of the gospel within the Chinese interior.
